While both are important, they answer different questions. The inspection asks, “Is this home in good shape?” The appraisal asks, “Is this home worth the price?”

Understanding both helps buyers make smarter, more confident decisions. One protects you from hidden problems, while the other protects your financial investment. Together, they create a clearer picture of what you’re really buying.
